  "I'm still trying to figure out who i am and who i want to be", in the " dog meets god" by Bert V. Royal, one of the main characters in the book, Charlie Brown, dog dies and he hosted a funeral for him. except, not one of his friends showed up. After the funeral he goes into depression about the death of his dog, when in the depression he goes into a stage where he doesn't know who he is. Every person who has expirienced a loss in their life should read " dog meets god" by Bert Royal.

 When people lose a loved one in their life it can be very tough, it usually takes that person a long time to move on. But for charlie brown, sometimes he felt his dog was the only thing he had. And after he died, he didn't know what to do except lay in bed all day, and then a question crossed his mind about who he was. Charlie Brown thought it was finally time to move on and go to a party that his sister was throwing. When he got there everybody was shocked to see him there. Asking him very personel questions about what he's been up to and how did he feel after the death of his beloved dog snoopy, " all the questions i had to hear made me want to go back to bed and cry" . When everybody started getting used to him being at the party, his child hood friend Betoven, was sitting alone at the party. Charlie thought it would be nice to go over to him and talk to him. At first they were both really shy and then before they new it they were having a great conversation. Then, something snapped in Charlie and he kissed Betoven. Betoven shocked about what he just did told him " come with me". Every body at the party saw what charlie did and was standing there in shock. Charlie and betoken then hit the road together to get as faraway from everybody as they could. After a few days of being away, Charlie Browns sister, went out to go look for them but came back empty handed.

  " Dog meets god" by Bert V. Royal is a very intense and interesting book. This book has a connection to the world because a lot of people try so hard to find out who they are. Also how would their friends and family react and then everything gets so complicated for them. Although, i don't really have a connection with the book it is still a very interesting book to read. Every person who has experienced a lost should read " Dog meets god" by Bert V. Roayl.
